Day 42: The Do Anywhere Crossfit Workout

Where have I been all week? Keep reading and you’ll see in the upcoming posts.  Today’s workout was a fun one and inspired by the crossfit craze. I have yet to officially try crossfit, but you’d have to be living under a rock if you haven’t heard of it yet.  Women’s Health and Fitness put out this great workout consisting of 6 different moves that you can complete in 4 different ways.  No equipment is necessary and you can do it anywhere in short time. So of course I was all over it!  After a five minute jump rope warm up, I did workout #1 where you perform 10 reps of each exercise for a total of 15  minutes.  With jump squats, butterfly situps, burpees, tricep dips, lunge hops, and pushups, this workout really hits your whole body.  Don’t let the short time and small reps deceive you….this workout is hard! I was definitely wiped at the end and sore the next day!
